Did you know?
Kangaroo cups got their name when young designer Lily Born and her family heard that kangaroos use their tails to balance, almost like a third leg. The three-legged kangaroo cup was inspired by Lily’s grandfather, who has Parkinson’s disease. When Lily was 8 years old, she saw that he was having trouble drinking coffee without spilling it and set about designing a no-spill cup. Fast forward through some extensive prototyping, crowdfunding and adventures, and the kangaroo cup is now in production. Well done Lily! Inspiring stuff.
