Amefa worked with a product designer to develop cutlery that would work for people with limited grip strength or who have limited movement in the wrist. Together they produced this ‘Integral’ range of cutlery – and isn’t it beautiful? The unusual and elegant designs would not look out of place on any table.
You wouldn’t necessarily know to look at them, but the cutlery has clever ideas built in – they’re easy to pick up from the table, can be held in different positions, and the knife is easy to apply pressure to when cutting.
Dimensions: 19 cm
Material: Stainless steel
Care: Dishwasher safe
What our testers say
The cutlery is quite heavy, so might not suit everyone, but our testers liked the weightiness.
Some of our testers thought these were like small, gorgeous sculptures – ‘table art’!
Originally a Dutch company, founded in 1931, Amefa now has a base in six countries including the UK, and supplies cutlery and other kitchen products around the world.
The Integral range of cutlery was designed for Amefa by product designer Isabel Heubl, and it went on to win the German Design Plus award.
